I've been listening to this live version of Laura Marling's New Romantic over and over again. It's one of my favorite live performances. She's so fragile! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cR_lzh6gvT4
Happy Birthday Pattie Boyd! Needed to get this set in before the end of the day. Ugh can you imagine inspiring such a song? I mean there's still debate on whether this song was officially inspired by Pattie but I mean...I believe, at least I want to.
Another album I've been obsessing over is "We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic" by Foxygen. They are like all of my favorite bands rolled into one unique blend of sound. If you like MGMT and 60's revival then I think you'll like it!
Favorite Tracks: On Blue Mountain San Francisco No Destruction
"Never finished that letter I was writing." Laura Marling // I Speak Because I Can
Goodness I haven't been on in forever! It was very difficult to back into the swing of things and make a set. I had some help though with a new album I'm obsessing over. Laura Marling's I Speak Because I Can is one of those nearly -if not completely perfect albums.
Favorite Tracks: - Blackberry Stone - I Speak Because I Can - Goodbye England - Hope in the Air
But the whole album is fantastic so really hard to pick favorites.
